Based in Sydney, Australia, moccc is a design brand founded in May 2025, inspired by small everyday moments, quiet emotions, and lingering thoughts.

Through playful yet heartfelt visual expression, moccc transforms personal stories and feelings into warm and relatable designs.

The name “moccc” stands for “MOCha Chien Company”. “Mocha” comes from the name of Rihanna’s (founder of moccc) beloved dog, while “Chien” is taken from her husband’s surname, naturally reflecting a sense of family and affection.

At the centre of moccc are characters inspired by family relationships, everyday experiences, and personal emotions. Alongside its character-based works, moccc also explores emotions that are difficult to express in words through flowers, plants, organic lines, and simple forms.

Working freely between hand-drawing and digital illustration, moccc expands its designs into posters, notebooks, stickers, and lifestyle objects, aiming to bring small moments of joy, comfort, and connection into everyday life.

Hello!

Based in Australia, I am a Korean illustrator and designer working across posters, textile patterns, and a variety of lifestyle objects. I studied Fashion and Textiles in Korea and later specialised in Textile Design at RMIT in Australia, where I developed a strong interest in surface design, pattern composition, and tactile visual storytelling.

Through my brand, moccc, I create works inspired by small everyday moments, fleeting emotions, and lingering thoughts that quietly shape our lives. My practice explores the beauty of imperfect feelings and the subtle narratives hidden within ordinary experiences.

Each piece reflects a personal yet relatable story, blending soft visual sensibilities with playful forms and expressive textures. I see design as an evolving process of collecting emotions and transforming them into something tangible and meaningful.

Currently, I continue to expand moccc through exhibitions, printed works, objects, and collaborative projects, with the hope that my designs can bring warmth, curiosity, and quiet comfort into everyday spaces.
